Overview

The Ultrasonic Multi-Channel (UT-MC) Octopus in-line inspection tools have been specifically designed to offer high definition inspection in highly attenuating mediums and difficult to inspect materials such as crude oil and stainless steels. The ultrasonic sensors are raised towards the pipe wall on mechanical arms, allowing them to extend and contract and maintain close distance with the pipe wall with varying pipe schedules and deformation anomalies.
